Tutoring Club                 

We are dedicated to cultivating the next generation of astronauts, cancer researchers and equally big-dreamers, and it all starts with 1 + 1= a tutor and a student. During the school year on Tuesday evenings, area students, ages 8-18, are picked up from their homes, fed a homemade meal, and tutored one-on-one. These students not only find a friend in the tutor, but are also taught the love of Christ through Bible Study and teachings of God’s word. Students are proud to report greatly improved grades, and our Tutors are ready with showers of praise! Approximately 90% of these students are now receiving a “B+” or above! Tutors are necessary to make the Tutoring Club a success. So show off your teaching skills and sign-up to tutor and begin to make a difference in a child’s life.

BreakOut Kids Club       

During the summer months, area children are rounded up for a couple hours on Saturdays to enjoy in a little fun in the sun as an alternative to unwanted summer boredom! Leaders play silly games with the kids that are usually made up on the spot, or sometimes the kids enjoy drawing with chalk, jumping rope and throwing around footballs. On occasion, the industrial sized grill is pulled out and fired up for the kids to assist with the cooking, along with music and games. It’s like their own ‘Block Party’ in the parking lot.
